What is health coaching?

We’ve all been in a place where we know what is best for us, but we just can’t get ourselves to do it. Change can be hard.

Health coaching can help with this.

Many healthcare providers help you with determining what should be done.  A cardiologist may tell you about methods for lowering your blood pressure, or a dietician may prescribe a specific diet.

Health coaches are focused on the how of making changes and can help with some of the following things:

 

        • Increasing motivation and self-confidence
        • Identifying and defining the right goal for you
        • Planning for action in a way that maximizes the chances of success
        • Building accountability structures that work for you

A 30-minute call to address any questions you may have about health coaching and make sure my services are a good fit for your goals.

Choose a coaching package

After your free consultation, you will have the option to book a coaching package. Individual sessions are also available for clients who have previously completed a coaching program.

Healthy Lifestyle Quick-Start | $145

A two-session coaching package that gives you a detailed, realistic plan for gradually making healthy changes.

Want to get healthier but unsure where to start? Overwhelmed by all the different things you could be doing? Together we’ll create a plan that’s just right for you…and a back-up plan. Sometimes stuff comes up.

 

90-Day New Habit | $375

A three-month comprehensive coaching program that takes you through the process of building a healthy habit that you can keep long-term.

Tired of crash diets and exercise routines abandoned after a few weeks? I’ll help you build a new habit from the ground up and avoid the pitfalls that prevent lifestyle change from sticking, like inconsistent motivation, low confidence, or time constraints.

 

Schedule your first session

After booking a coaching program, you will be emailed a link to schedule your first session. You will also receive worksheets to be completed prior to your first session to improve understanding of your current and ideal health situation. All health coaching sessions are currently conducted over video call.

I started working with Katie as my Health Coach to address some specific health and nutrition goals. She has been fantastic! Where do we meet?

Health coaching sessions are conducted over video call.

Is health coaching right for me?

Health coaching only works when clients are invested and ready to take action, so it is not a good fit for anyone who is unwilling to make changes.  Health coaching also may not be right for you if you have an active medical issue that has not been diagnosed or treated. As a health coach, I cannot diagnose any diseases or prescribe any treatments. My focus is on helping you make changes to the lifestyle components of health that  are within your control.
